Our Goals

The ambition of Lakey Charities.org is to raise the profile for those non-profits who have a great heart for humankind, but whose human or financial resources remain under-funded.

The Blind Childrens Center of Los Angeles was the first charity I became associated with – after my introduction to the late singer/songwriter Ray Charles, a great man who has inspired and encouraged me throughout my career as an artist and painter.

Since 1990, I have helped over 200 non-profit organizations and charities. It also has been a requirement from all the dealers of my art that they donate at least 5% of the proceedings to a local charity or organization in need of support.

I encourage every one of you to reach out and to find a charity that can utilise your efforts, your talents and skills, your time, or, in the absence of all of those, your financial support.
